LeAnn Rimes attended the 2023 CMT Music Awards red carpet in Austin, Texas, tonight. The singer wore a strapless silhouette covered in floral appliqués and a high slit for added drama.
Rimes’ dress was equally edgy and ’20s reminiscent with layers of chains that draped across the bodice and her one-leg finish. A sheer underlayer hemmed at the thigh for a midi-length finish and to follow was a splatter of silver embellishments down the right leg. The sparkling chains that fell from the slit were the key detail, offering a delicate take on the duality of accents.
Accompanying her vibrant red pedicure was a pair of metallic open-toe sandals to bring the silver red-carpet hue home. The metallic strap at the vamp had a sparkling outline with silver vinyl fabric sandwiched in between.
The CMT Music Awards celebrate artists who have impacted the country music industry. This year’s show, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown at Moody Center in Austin, enlisted performances by Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban. Dixie D’Amelio, Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Kelce were some of the stars invited to present the categories.
