Jennifer Lopez Puts A Sultry Spin on “High Tea” In a Peplum Skirt Set Covered in Roses

She celebrated her Intimissimi launch in two lingerie-baring looks

To celebrate her new Intimissimi capsule collectionJennifer Lopez embraced her romantic side.

The superstar hosted a star-studded launch event to mark the launch of her “This Is Me Now” collection, where she embodied the bash’s “high tea” theme in two sultry and whimsical looks. For her first outfit, Lopez looked gorgeous in a tiny black matching set, comprised of a cropped short-sleeved jacket and a structured micro miniskirt. The two-piece was elevated with white rose motifs, including several fabric appliqués pinned to the top and a row of rose-shaped buttons adorning the skirt. She also wore the jacket unbuttoned to reveal her lacy black underneath.

She added black pointed-toe pumps and accessorized minimally, with a pair of white rosette stud earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet. Her hair was pulled into a low bun with loose tendrils framing her face, and she wore glowy makeup with her signature glossy nude lip.

Lopez also posed in a lovely ivory gown, which featured a sheer short-sleeved bodice covered in matching heart-shaped appliqués, and a midi-length skirt of see-through fabric with circular embroidery. The star added a lacy garter and stockings which perfectly matched her skin tone and ivory pumps with diamond ankle straps.

In an exclusive interview with Bazaar, the Intimissimi global brand ambassador spoke on her collection, which takes inspiration from her creative and musical endeavors over the past few years, including her forthcoming ninth studio album of the same name. She also teased her highly-anticipated return to music.

“This is a deeper look into who I am and the personal journey that I’ve been on to arrive to where and who I am today, which is a happier and more confident, more accepting place,” she says. “It’s about accepting yourself for all of the beautiful scars that you carry with you, and loving every part of them all the same.”
